Couple's not-so-quiet retreat
The staff were super welcoming and friendly, which was nice, and they suggested some local spots for us to hit up during our stay. The cozy lobby had lots of couches to relax on, and we discovered this cool second-floor bar that opened up to an outdoor beer garden with a great view.
It wasn’t exactly affordable, but it was still acceptable in terms of what we got.

ideal spot for park views and landmark visits
I loved how close I was to Brooklyn Heights Promenade, which offered stunning views of Manhattan, and the New York Transit Museum, where I could walk and explore the history of NYC’s transport system. the staff were friendly, making the stay feel welcoming.

Staff was super friendly and helpful, recommending nearby spots. Room had a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, and a minibar. The tile floors looked nice and the bathroom was tidy with free toiletries. Location is pretty decent, just a short walk to the subway, making it easy to explore the city.

Decent stay but some misses
Had a mixed experience. The room was nice and spacious, and the shower was hot, but no microwave and a small breakfast area made things tricky. The staff felt a bit indifferent when we tried to lounge after checkout. The bar area was chill, though! Just lacked some little things that would’ve really improved the stay.

missingWrote a review on Jul 09friendly staffcomfortable accommodationtimely communication issuecold roomservice delay
Friendly staff made the experience enjoyable, as they consistently went above and beyond to assist guests. The room's shower was exceptional and felt better than home, making for a refreshing experience. However, the front desk communication could be improved, especially evident in the lack of timely responses for extra linens during a colder night.

missingWrote a review on Jul 07spacious roomcomfortable bedsmodern bathroomloud street noisehot water issue
The room was spacious and beautiful, very comfortable to relax in. The beds were nice, but some rooms were a bit small. The bathroom was modern which was cool, but getting hot water in the morning was an issue. Street noise can be loud if your room faces the road, so that's something to consider. Overall, comfy but with a few quirks.

Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement
I appreciated the comfy bed and the prime location close to popular attractions. However, the cleanliness could improve, especially under the bed. Highly recommend grabbing breakfast at a nearby bistro for a much better experience!

So we stayed for 3 nights and I gotta say the air conditioning was strong enough to keep us cool on those humid days and the lobby honestly had this nice little art deco vibe that I didn’t mind upfront but what really stood out was the staff member named Campbell who always welcomed everyone as they walked in like he was glad to see them
But let me tell you it wasn’t exactly cheap even if I can deal with paying a bit extra for a suite
